Just one more reason for real companies doing real ad champagnes to not use micro stock images. If one or the other company had used a rights managed image and paid accordingly for the exclusive use of that image, this embarrassment would not have occurred.

More specifically, it’s an 14″ iBook G3. The G4s have opaque plastic, this one looks like is has the greyish-green metallic painted plastic on the top case (palmrest area).

The Asus picture was on their pressrelease cd for the CeBIT show back in march.
The MSI Wind picture got published in a promotion fotoseries about 2 weeks ago.

and were was this adverb used officially? how could somebody tell it is not just two photoshoped pictures and somebody “claimed” ASUS and MSI did them?

it’s not even a macbook. its an ibook. you can tell, because there is no magsafe adapter.
