Auf der diesjährigen Computex 2008 in Taipei überraschte Asus mit dem Konter auf MSI Wind & Co. So erblickten dort der Asus Eee PC 1000 und der Eee PC 1000H das Licht der Welt.

Der Hauptunterschied zu den 90X Modellen besteht hier in der Displaygröße, welche 10,2" beträgt.
